So here we are, lunchtime at the Chequers
The BBQ was great and for pud we had fruit tart and
the remains of the Windsor Millenniumm cake(s).
My apologies for catching you scoffing - fortunately this isn't a
scratch n' sniff picture or you'd be 'enjoying' the aroma of
burgers, bangers, drumsticks etc.....
A couple of final pics. of the 'goodies' members received at the reunion.
The choccies were distributed round all the dining tables -
and were on sale in the tuck shop.
We're also offering these for sale - don't ask me the price right now -
they're enamelled on metal with the crest and dates as you see above,
just right for plonking a glass of your favourite tipple on.
I haven't checked e-mails today (it's now 6.30pm Sunday here)
but up until 11.00 last night we had received over 150 greetings e-mails at Newbury.
I think that's amazing and I'd like to that everyone who sent a message,
they were all, apart from a handful that arrived after 11.00pm,
transmitted around the building on the internal TV teletext system
and were well received and appreciated.
I know many of you cracked open a bottle to celebrate with us -
sorry you couldn't be there in person, you missed a totally
unbelievable party - hopefully we'll see you next time
