I am hoping to get to the reunion, only work will prevent it if I can't. Is anyone in touch with Andy Ranson (B) 7? - 77 and Alec Robinson (E) 7? - 76? If so could they get in touch please! Mar 2000 My name is Lorraine Tomlinson (nee Norsden) and I was at WGS from 1975 (aged 11) until very early 1979. I was in Sandringham house along with my sister Vickie who was at WGS from 1974 (aged 11) and has also sent a message to the visitors book (January 2000). I left WGS before Sandringham house closed but my sister was still there and told me what a very sad day it was for everyone. It's a fascinating web site by the way that has brought back many happy memories for me. I have also read Denise Baker's (now Scribbens) message (prompted by my sister!) who was my best friend there and I promise that I will be in touch very soon. I do recognise a lot of the names listed in the visitors book and surprisingly even remember their faces! I would love to hear from anyone who may remember me. Mar 2000 I have just discovered you!! I thought I'had had only dreamed the whole experience! I think its great that somebody has realised we did exist. I would like to know if John Woodward was the same sad Berliner, who went to Gatow Middle School. We seemed to be the very last people to go home at school holidays and it was such a long trip but so eventful but what a laugh! I am still in touch with Kathryn Foord and Marion Barnard. I remember Patricia O Callaghan (Tosh) (who was the first person to pluck my eyebrows, which seemed to be an obsession in those days!) Marion was in Balmoral and Kathryn was in Caernarvon at the same year, I will forward this website as soon as possible to them. Mar 2000 Hello All, Just come back to THE BOOK and seen that lots more people I remember have made contact. Its great to hear from everyone and to see that the site is growing with contacts. Spent lots of time in all different houses at Windsor - anyone heard anything about Sandra Amey or Janice Nagel, these guys have never popped up anywhere. I am in weekly contact with Scottie if anyone wants to send her a message (She hasn't quite got into the technology yet) Look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Mar 2000 Hi to you all again from Australia, have booked my flight and look forward to catching up with as many of you as possible at Newbury. Mike Hill is not coming over this time but Michael Barnacoat is, other than that I have no confirmations from the 20 or so over here and in New Zealand. Would love to hear from any Balmoral or ex Roosevelt (KAS) members who remember Moose my eldest brother who now resides in Taupo, New Zealand or Andy who resides in Stowmarket Suffolk and whom I'm coming to the re-union with. Decided to email Terry Bugden in Hongkong to see if he was the same "Buggsie" who attended Bourne School, Kuala Lumpur in 63/64 (as a pupil) and too my absolute delight he was - shame he isn't coming over. David keep up the good work on this site its magnificent and I visit at least once a week just to keep up with the news. See you on June 24th. Mar 2000 Well what a surprise to be innocently surfing through the web to find this wonderful site. I was Head of Hillsborough House in my last year at WGS and my brother Ian attended WBS in Caernarvon I think. My best friend at school was Vicky Fisher (the pair of us commonly known as Titch and Quackers)who I still keep in touch with. Years below are approx. Will add this to my favourites and regularly visit. Susan Murray (Nee Cook) (H 70-74) murray.susan@talk21.com |

Mar 2000 Karen Gardner (Strudwick) told me about the web site,it brought back a lot of memories, I was suprised how many names and faces I recognised, I even caught a glimpse of myself, it seems like a different lifetime ago. My kids thought it was a real hoot. I shall certainly be back to visit the site, unfortunately I won`t be able to make it to the reunion, but I hope those that do have a great time. Mar 2000 Great Website! I was at WBS from 77 to 79 and would like to hear from anyone that knew me there. Names that spring to mind are Kurt Graves (Heriburt), Dave Anthony, Mike James, Kevin Leadbeater. Good to see all the photos and familiar names from the past. Somewhere I have a picture of our rugby team that won the Concordia 7's in 1979 (I think).....Kim Holder, Animal are a couple of others that were in the team. If I can find it I will scan it and send it in. There are several from the Girls school that I would like to hear from, but will not mention any names for fear of incriminating myself. Chris Cox (M 77-79) ccox@chevron.com |

Mar 2000 Hello Everyone, More names I recognise! This Site is getting very busy of late. This is really just an update of my email address and a reminder that I'd love to hear from anyone that remembers me, particularly dorm 312 and dorm 307 Edinburgh! And you can always catch me in Windsor chat most sundays. Anyone who hasn't been in yet please try to come and join us - it gets a bit crazy at times but is lots of fun! Looking forward to the big reunion and seeing everyone there....Ali Ali Lindley (E 77-79) ali.pete@btinternet.com |

Mar 2000 Thank the Lord for BBC Radio Two, the source of my findings!!! I was at Marlborough with my sister, Judy for over two years. I remember Jackie Mays, who I would like to get in contact with. It would be nice to here from anyone who was there at this time, but Judy and I hope to meet up with some old friends at the reunion. My last contact from Miss Davies, Maths teacher was a Christmas card from Libya in the 1970s. Does anybody know where she is now and/or what she is doing? I was also wondering if any one knows when Miss "Wally" Waldron stopped teaching there, or is she still there teaching the refugees!?! LOL (added by my youngest son).
