Hi Sylvia.Thats
when I last heard of her as well.My hubby and I went to the wedding, were
you there. She worked at Eagle Star Insurance in Lincoln then moved to
Southend with her husband, think he was in banking. She
set up a blind date for me and I ended up married to him. What or who
else do you remember.
Jane Helps (StJ67-70)
ps Hi again Sylvia
do you also remember Leslie Skinner I`m sure she was in Hillsbo.

Hi Bruce...haven't
chatted to you in ages. Haven't had any decent tea parties either!!
Have changed my name to Welford though. I'm still at the same email
if you want to drop me a line. Rescued any cars from your ravine lately?

Hi Jane, No I wasn't
at the wedding I had stopped by to see her at her mam and dads address.
Must have been a good blind date!! Yes I remember Lesley. She was in
Marlboro. I had heard that she had died several years ago. I just can't
remember if it was an illness or an accident. I don't know if you remember
Mike and Lesley Winstanley? I was in touch with them but haven't heard
from them in a couple of years. I am married to Nick Welford who went
to e boys school at the same time as we were there. Also remember Vivien
Pittendrey, but haven't spoken to her since I left Hamm in 71. The longer
one thinks the more names coming popping in.regards, Sylvia ps. are
you going to the reunion in Blackpool in June?

I have been away
from this site for a while, and have lapsed.. I had a surprise call
from a very old friend today - Rod Whitworth - asking about the reunion,
which I knew nothing about! - It has obviously been longer than I thought!
I have never missed one yet, but, to quote Paul Valentine, 'There are
not enough people from the 80s'! Paul and I are always there, along
with Cloughy, (You are still not forgiven for the photos you took with
my camera!!)but there are rarely new faces, although it was a delight
to see Lisa & Sam Connop and Ingrid Martin at the last one! Is anyone
from the 80s planning to go this year?

I was at WGS for
a short but happy time, my nickname was Podge I'm sorry to say and I
was 11 years old when I started so my first term was in the 'big dorm'
which slept 9 I think and was next to Matrons room. I would love to
hear from anyone who remembers me.

Dear Susan (Podge)
- I remember you, in fact, I think my website has a photo with you on
http://pamelaross.co.uk/morewindsor_1.htm
you will have to let me know if that's right! I am hoping to go
to the reunion in June, just trying to fit it in my extremely busy diary
of geology field trips and caravanning weekends :-) Best wishes Pam

Hello to all -
I am always curious to visit site just to see if i recognise names.
I must admit i am a bit shallow in sense of skipping through messages,
its the dates of school attendance that attract me. To Chris Duxberry,
yes, definately travel up to blackpool together. Looking forward to
that, all these years later, almost a lifetime, will i recognise people
in their 40's afterall my memories of yu all are as 17 year olds wow
and what a fantastic site to enable us to do all this. Denise Fletcher,
You mentioned you worked in care industry? me too, manage childrens
homes. I remeber so many people and hopefully see as many as possible
real soon....

I was thinking
of going to the reunion this year but notice a distinct lack of people
on this site from the 70s while I was there...and I was there for ages!!!
Where is everyone? Does anyone remember me?
Angie Dunmall (S69-75)
|
7 Mar 2007
Ginnie I am so
sorry to hear about your mum. I remember visiting and being fed the
most wonderful black forest gateau made by her. She told me the secret
was in soaking the cherries in champagne. I also remember you dad checking
the corridors for a lack of underdressed boys before letting us out
of the flat. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. Dawn

I agree with Angie
Dunmall, where are all the 70's people??? I think I will be dragging
my sister along to the reunion anyway.

All
previous reunions have had a cross section of age groups - you will
find loads of 70's people there though I can't guarantee that they will
have their tank tops on... BillC

I was very fortunate
recently in Contacting Sandie Guppy reference the reunion planned for
Blackpool this year. Although she said she may not attend, she informed
me that the likes of Paul Valintine and Paul Clough attend every event.
I believe that it is the same Paul Clough that I
stayed with in Osnabruck, just prior to my Dad leaving the army.I will
try and attend this years event if work comitments allow.

Hi to all, especially
Chris Harrison (Lancaster), glad to hear you fancy travelling up to
Blackpool together for the reunion, I will contact Bill C and ask him
to forward my email address to you so that we can make the arrangements.
Have you booked your room at the Norbreck Castle Hotel yet? I booked
my room about two weeks ago and am just waiting for confirmation which
I hope won't be too long as they have already taken the money off my
card. Hope to see everyone else from the late 70's early 80's in Blackpool
on 30th June. Bye for now.

We had a committee
meeting today and I hope you will be glad to hear that Newsletter 27
was put into envelopes and should be with you very shortly. I am really
sorry it is so late but we had hoped to include reunion information
with it to save postage. This wasn't possible and it will now have to
come separately. This is my last newsletter and we are without anyone
to take on the task. Please could someone volunteer? I will give help
and advice for what it's worth. So fingers crossed! Gill

Hi,I have finally
entered the 21st century and have got on line! Infact have just spent
the last 3 hours reading through all the messages and reminiscing! I've
loved it! Several names have jogged my memory as I've scrolled through,
in fact this afternoon I'm going to browse through all my old letters
(yes I've still got every single one of them, nothing too incriminating,
although the language is rather too colourful for print!)Thanks Nige
(Hoar) for your call to me after Julie died and for the lovely letter
& photo's you sent of you & your children, I'm still a member
and my contact details are on the list. Some familiar names I've seen
mentioned, Elise O'Meara (we were friends in 3rd & 4th year), Carol
Fairhurst, Carol McCall, Lynn Smith,Sue Carlile, Phil Morris (peasoup),
Sue Airey,Camilla Boyd, oh! and Glen Muddle who I worshipped from afar
and numerous others.I have had flashbacks of smoking in loo's (for years
after I had an automatic response to use the loo as I lit up! ugh! disgusting!),
Carol Fairhurst & I sneaking down to the cellars to meet the boys..in
PJ's, dressing gowns & sunglasses & floppy hats (we really did
think we looked cool!) but after telling 'ghosties'and scaring ourselves
witless while we waited for the boys to arrive, we managed a whole 5
minutes together before us girls 'chickened' out and went back to our
beds.. the disappointment on those boys faces I'll never forget! As
I recall that was a night of several male visitors to WGS, some of whom
got caught, needless to say when our dorms were checked Carol &
I were sleeping soundly! Angels, that we were! Ha Ha.I also remember
in that very long hot summer of '76, huge numbers of us girls, sunbathing
on the field and the ampitheatre, deciding to throw caution to the wind
and go topless just as the senior boys were visiting for the afternoon!
The poor duty teacher (name fails me, curly hair, taught German) frantic,
trying to round up the guilty parties and get them to cover up! So many
memories, I will make it to a reunion one of these days.

Williams) (C73-76)

Hi to Joanne Hurley
(nee Williams). I knew your sister Julie, we both worked together at
Laarbruch, she was a really nice girl. Didn't you used to be friendly
with Pauline O'Leary and Margaret Smith I think? I know what you mean,
there are so many names, events and stories to remember. Don't know
if any of these names ring a bell, but I was friendly with Lorraine
Winder, Chris Woods, Jill Cuthbertson, Carol Jones and Debbie Hughes.
Carol became my chief bridesmaid and I'm still in contact with her and
Debbie on MSN.

Hi Bobby Hoffman,
I certainly do remember dancing with you at the folk club, but not sure
about dragging you in for tea though! Didn't you used to go out with
a very pretty girl called Jayne Rowlatt?? Are you in contact with anyone
else from Windsor? I had the odd e-mailing spell with a few people,
including the McPartlands, not sure if they were there when you were,
Americans likeyourself. Also have been in touch recently with the Maxwell
girls Rosemary and Clare. It would be great fun to get a few of us together
at the reunion in June. Julie Turner and myself went to the last one
in Newbury but although it was well attended there weren't many there
from our era...seems to be the years after us the late 70s have a better
response!! So come on you lot from the early 70s, where are you all??
Bobby, did you know the Burfords, Jamie and Bill? I'd love to contact
Jamie, her and I had a few laughs at Windsor!! Julie and I will definitely
go to the reunion if we can rustle up some interest!!
Angie Dunmall (S69-75)

I am interested

is? Last I heard he had joined the Navy!

Hi all was at windsor
between 1970 - 73 was known as Andy Scrivin then long story about change
of name but lived in Wulfen when Kevin Rawson was there and was in the
same dorm as steve freeman and merrick marshall
steven holt.

Janet Jenkins I
have been in touch with Nigel James since we left school, last time
I spoke to him he lived in Chelmsford Essex and he worked for P&O
ferries having been in Merchant Navy. He is married and has two cracking
lads. Unfortunately I have lost his contact details as I would really
like to catch up with him again. If there is anybody reading this that
can help me get in touch with him I would appreciate it. You must have
been in the same house as my wife Denise (Pegram) and her friend Ellan
Buchanan.

hi all and a particular
hiya to Keith Lancaster, im not sure if we dated or were just friends
but remember you and our trips over to school from home, i dropped Lofty
a line as hers was the only name i recognised at the time, my memory
for names is terrible or maybe im just getting old lol, hows things?
are you going to the reunion? i keep thinking i ought to go one year
but worried i wont know anyone, still if theres plenty going from the
70's im sure someone will jog my memoryanyway if anyone else remembers
me it would be great to hear from you
Tracey Watson(Smith)
(B76-79)
Tracey,
even if you don't know anyone at the reunion you will find that as we
all had a similar upbringing you will feel at home immediately and have
a great time - forces kids have always been a friendly bunch and we
all have a lot in common - BillC

Joanne! (Hurley),
nice to see you on here at last. Ive tried to get in touch with you
at your workplace. That receptionist could get a job with the San Fransisco
49'ers as a line backer.....:)I hope you and your family are well, I
think of julie everytime I log on to this site or shop at asda's and
wondered where you got to. I'll be in touch. I'd just like to add my
dismay at seeing the old school in such a sorry state. (Mind you, I
showed the pictures to my girlfriend and on coming across those of the
dorms she began to wonder if it was actually a borstal!)...... erm,
well, shift position, cough.....

16 Mar 2007
Just a brief message
pertaining to the last one left by Tracey Smith. I too have a rapidly
fading memory and have a faint one that i may remember you. Please try
and make the reunion, as Bill says, the spirit of Windsor is still very
much alive in all of us fortunate enough to have survived the experience.
we all find it incedibly difficult to explain to our wives, husbands,
children, grandchildren, therapists, shrinks etc, what is was like and
the experiences we shared. I too, showed my children, photos and magazines
from our time there and they told their teachers that i went to a boys
prison when i was younger, bit tricky to explain my way out of that
one at the next parents meeting....So, tracey, if you are reading this,
get yourself up to Blackpool and i for one, will gladly buy you a drink.
Look forward to catching up with everyone in Blackpool, by the way,
do i need jabs and a passport?

Pat Innes, Jill
Cuthbertson's my sister, she lives in Chesterfield and is a nurse at
the hospital. Nice to see Scott back on the site! Call me and we can
meet up in either Colchester or London for a few beers. Unfortunatley
for me I wont be able to make the reunion this year. I was chuffed about
the location, but the date clashes with some my anniversary (25th!)
weekend away which includes booked events such as theatre and Wimbledon.
Heyho, either side and I could have done both! Keep up the good work
Bill, and the "you lot" comment was meant to be endearing!

Hi, thanks Pat (Innes)
for your message and kind remarks about Julie, yes she was a really
nice girl, I loved her vey much and miss her terribly. It was nice to
see a couple of her messages on the site which bought a smile to my
face. Yes, I did used to be friendly with Margaret Smith (S) & Pauline
O'Leary (E), although we never maintained contact after I left. I did
maintain contact with Pete Davis (E 73-76) for a couple of years (David
Essex lookalike, I thought at the time), and Jeff Bullen and his sister
live locally in Chester. I must be honest and 'fess up to not knowing
any of the other names you mentioned but then Julie was alway better
than me at recalling details (although after 24 years of marriage I
have now perfected this female trait! albeit selectively!)Hi Nige, fantastic
to hear from you I was hoping it wouldn't be too long before you visited
the site and we could get back in touch. Have changed jobs, promotion
(in same hospital tho') but have to admit that the communications dept
have someway to catchup.. my contact number in work is 4 years out of
date!! Try ringing me at home. Checked out my old photo's the other
day.. figure looked great but hairstyle & clothes leave a lot to
be desired!! The 70's have alot to answer for!

hi thanks to Bill
and Paul for your encouragement to attend the reunion, as there is a
drink incentive i just cannot refuse lol. although is it possible to
book online only my printer is not working at the mo??Paul we were certainly
there for the same period, i was a first to third year though so didnt
really get to many social events other than the balmoral get together,
my memory of male friends is even worse than my female ones which is
bad considering the time we spent together, i remember Keith Lancaster
and Mark Eels, did you know them perhaps and me through them??my apologies
to Chris Lancaster if reading this, in my last message i referred to
your nickname and it was only reading through the back messages i notice
you now hate it, sorryi know what you mean about our experiences as
forces kids and particularly at boarding school, i think it helped to
shape me as a strong independent woman though and i found it interesting
to note how many people are in the caring profession on the site, i
am a community mental health nurseanyway i seem to be waffling a bit
too much here so be warned Paul if you do buy me that drink i may just
talk you to death, alcohol does have a tendency to loosen ones tongue!

Good
to hear you are coming Tracy, there will be a flyer posted soon to all

Hi Angie: I used
to keep in contact with a few: the Brindleys, Suzanne Gower, Susie Barlow,
Bow O'Barr - but, being a poor correspondant, all contacts have lapsed.
Have not seen or heard from the Burford's or McPartlands for many years.
Maybe I can resurrect one or two - Susie might know how to contact the
Burfords. Maybe we can rally some interest in the reunion - I have noticed
some website postings from a few Americans lately. I also remember the
Maxwell's, Jayne Rowlatt (who was very nice - and a casual friend) and
her friend Lorraine McMillan (who I did see at an earlier reunion, alongwith
Neil Carrick, Jimmy Nichols, Div and Theresa Whiston, and others). So,
maybe if we put up a few more postings, others of the early 70's lot
will respond.

Hi to Nic Cuthbertson.
It's been 3 or 4 years since I last heard from Jill and a lot's happened
since then. Please give her my best wishes and could you not get her
to come to the Blackpool reunion????? I'll be going with my sister,
Gwen. After nearly 30 years of marriage, my hubby still doesn't get
the whole forces boarding school thing. You had to be there!!!! We could
have a good old catch up. Could you tell her I'm in touch with Debbie
Hughes and Carol Jones again.

Hi everyone, I
keep scouring the pages for all those mid seventies people - where have
you gone. Finally made contact with Steve Owen (sponge) and Elaine Stonehouse
which has been great fun talking to them. I see Andy Youngs has put
a message up, another Berliner but you probably don't remember me Andy.
Steve can't make the reunion and Elaine is undecided, Kim Fletcher and
Maz Barnard will be there tho', I am so excited, everything is booked,
the hotel has confirmed the room, plane ticket and passport in my possession
- roll on June, I haven't been back to the UK for 16 years so its going
to be an interesting experience I am told. I am so looking forward to
catching up with others from my era to see what everyone is doing these
days.

Hi all, just been
checking all the messages again... so many now from the 70's. Really
jealous now because I can't make the Blackpool Reunion as I shall be
out of the country on holiday and it seems more 70's people than ever
will be going. I have been to some reunions already and they have been
fantastic. Hi to everyone I knew and to those of you that are going
have a fantastic time, maybe there will be some pictures posted on this
site afterwards?

Be Still My Beating
Heart...! Dawn Johnson finally makes it to the site. I will be inconsolable
should you not rememeber our tender embraces under the shadows of the
Marlborough Boys block. You stole my heart, threw it away like confetti
and danced on the broken shell of a man, not bad for a fifteen year
old. I truly hope you will make it to the reunion, i am collecting women
who are afrid to go alone and i have a seven seater Audi Q7, so would
be more than happy to leave Mike Ore behind and spend the weekend caring
for six lovely ladies, purely in a professional capacity of course.
lets find those lost souls from the seventies and get them up there
to Blackpool. being from the south, i am not sure of the language difficulties
but i am taking lessons in "Yorkshire & Lancashire" at
night school and hope to have enough to get by on the night. Please
accept this as my attempt to show you all how far i have come to break
the stereo type image that we in the south hold for our less fortunate
colleagues in the north. " it be reet grand t' see ye in't blackie"please
forgive me if it is not completely accurate, it means, for those of
you in the south, " i am delighted to attend the swaree in the
northern town of Blackpool and i am indeed, indebted for the kind inviation
pertaining to the event"looking forward to seeing you all then,
unfortunately i can not get into the chosen hotel and will be commuuting
from my suite at the Dorchester. PS, Dawn, make sure you make it to
this one, the memories and laughs are still with us all from the last
one, just imagine it to be a school social without the parachute for
effects.....

Just a note about
the coming reunion. First don't worry about who is or isn't going -
many people book close to the event (risky as it could be oversubscribed)
- we have no way of telling what the spread will be but past reunions
have had a very good cross - section of age groups. Even if you don't
know anyone you will be made welcome and have lots in common with the
people there, maybe make some new friends, I will be going alone as
I have in the past.
All members will
shortly receive a colour brochure advertising the reunion (done by my
own fair hand), we hope to send an application form to anyone else we
know. As the event gets closer those that have booked will be sent a

Has anybody got
David Pipes current home or e-mail address? I lent him all my school
photos at the 200 Newbury Reunion and have since been trying to get
in touch with him. I was also in Caernarvon in 1959/1960 and travelled
to Hamm by bus from Münster every day.

For Ginny Haverman
David Pipes can be contacted easily since he is a member of Mendip District
Council. I can give you the address but I don't think email addresses
are allowed on this page for obvious reasons. However just Google 'David
Pipes' and it's all there.

Partners at reunions?
Well, my other half has been to several reunions and loves them - in
fact, he blends in so well, people think he's an ex-pupil. Maybe next
time I'll send him and I'll stay at home. Actually, still deciding whether
or not I can fit it into my busy social calendar this year - although
from previous "do's", I know that usually it is possible to
make your mind up very late. How late do you think, Bill? Will it be
possible to turn up on the day and get tickets?
Pamela Ross (StJ63-68)
Newbury
is such a large venue it has never mattered but I wouldn't count on
late bookings for this one Pam.

Hi again. Just
read Andy Youngs message as to whether or not to take partners, from
my own personal experience on going to my first reunion back in 1990's,
and the same may be said by a few other people. My husband came with
me to my first reunion but felt quite left out as everyone was reminiscing
about the good old days. He left about an hour or so later telling me
that this was a time to be with old friends and didnt want me to feel
that I could'nt let my hair down. Everyone tried to make him feel welcome
but he just felt out of place. Anyway that was my experience of my first
reunion, it may be different for other's but I must admit it is nice
to really let your hair down. Chris Harrison (Lancaster) I will ring
you as soon as possible, things have been a bit hectic this last week,
my granddaughter has just started crawling and as most of you will agree
you need eyes in the back of your head. Looking forward to seeing everyone
at the end of June.

Haven't posted
anything for sometime, noticed a few names from the 80's, Rod Whitworth
we used to be neighbours when you first arrived in Osnabruck. I would
love to come to the reunion but petrified nobody from the 80's will
be there, or reconigse me come to think of it! I have the week of from
uni prior to the reunion, so there should be no excuse for not attending,
although I am settled in the south east, so it will be a trek (only
kidding) getting there. I am still in regular contact with
Carol Fleming, and I still send christmas cards to Amanda White and
Michelle Holman. I love reading the commments and the memories that
flood back, I could almost be there. Hopefully time permiting I will
be at the reunion. Come on you 80's lot.

Having been told
about this site by my school friend Pat Aris, I decided to take a wee
look. I've had a browse through the Visitor's book and must admit makes
for a good nights reading. I've come across a few names I recognise,
one in particular of which I have been trying to get in contact with
for a while on Friends Reunited. Dawn Bradley, we went to school together
in Cyprus, then in Catterick and finally Windsor Girls. I wonder if
you remember or maybe the reason i've had no reply form you is that
you don't wish to remember. Joanne Williams, I can't believe that you
don't remember me. My sister Pat got engaged to Steve McKnight, were
set to get married but Pat called it off a month before. Got cold feet
I guess. I married a guy called Gordon Hitchen, jog any memories? I
am sorry to hear of the loss of your sister Julie, late I know, but
please accept my condolences.

Hello Bobby.Loraine
Holmes (nee McMillan)here. I recognise all the names you mentioned but
alas I am not in touch with anyone. My Mother is still in touch with
Jayne's mother, she had married a Thai and is living out there. I am
in touch with Matti Matthews, but I haven't heard from anyone in my
era who is going to the reunion. I can remember John Refearn, Ian Hyland,
Greg Oxford, another of your American pals, Chris Bowyer, Patch (can't
remember his name) went out with Sue- was it Carlisle. I have photos
here of alot of people and I can't always remember their last names.
I need to go and look into it properly. I live down south near Reading
is there anyone going from this way?

Hi to everyone,
Andy (Scrivin)i remember the name but after all this time cant put a
face to it. I was there the same time as yourself and shared a dorm
with Kev Rawson. Here are a few more names you may or may not remember:
Steven Forward, Dave Bremner and Mike Melia. They were about the same
time as ourselves. Have booked for the renunion and will be at the hotel
about 1600 on the friday. As for taking partners, get them along as
i have never known anyone be left out, ex windsors or not. My wife has
been to 3 mini reunions and enjoyed everyone of them ( i think she only
goes because she thinks Bill C is fab and she wants him to adopt her,
i wish ) See you all there.
Alan Savage (C70-74)
Well
Becky could be young enough to be my daughter I suppose.....

Hi again,Andy,
I used to live at RAF Gatow, in the block near the tennis courts with
the Longwiths and the Stockleys. There was a whole `crowd' of us that
use to hang around and go down the youth club, the Stonehouses, the
Walkers, Dave Bocock, Jimmy McMenemy, Fiona Longwith, the Hobbs, Will
Revera, Flip Willson, Kingy? sure I have mentioned most of them - sorry
if I forgot anyone! I have just heard from Mike Jennings this week after
a few years, its always good to catch up with ex Windsors. Anyway I'll
come and say Hi at the reunion - do we all have badges Bill? or is it
more fun to guess who is who!!
Julie Maslen (nee Morgan) (E76-79)
Everyone
gets a badge, also there will be a list of who is there so you can go
looking. Last time they were quite small so you had to go right up to
someone and peer at their badge lol
|
25 Mar 2007
Hi Julie Morgan..Just
recignised some of the names you posted. Do you remember Shirley and
Steve Thomas? I Know that they were friends with Flipp. Glad to hear
you are going to Blackpool, See you there!

I do not Know how
or why I found this site...but I am pleased that I did. While touring
the site I found a photo of the Edinburgh Seniors and was shocked to
see myself and my brother and many other faces that I remember from
so long ago. I guess I will have to check back sometime to see if anyone
that reads this remembers me, till then, signing off. James P Mcilwee

26 Mar 2007
Hi Loraine - I
also have not been in touch with anyone recently, except Susie Barlow
who sent me Jamie Burford's email to pass on to Angie Dunmall, but I
haven't been able to make that happen yet (need help from BillC). I
remember Sue Carlise - I think once we all went on an English Lit. field
trip to Köln in a nice WD bus (why we went I don't recall). I will
try to make the reunion - I was planning to fly into Manchester, but
could maybe fly into Gatwick if you would like someone to drive north
with. When your Mother talks with Jayne's mother again, please ask her
to pass on hello to Jayne.

27 Mar 2007
Lorraine McMillan,
Patch was Patch Patterson or Pattinson, I think his proper name was
Chris, he was good friends with Shane Barnes and he was in Marlborough.
I think the girl he went out with was Sue West. Hope that helps trigger
a few more memories for you.
Scot Innes (M73-76)
PS Mr Hern,
sorry I didn't respond to the offer of joining committee I was not online
when it was first muted and when I came back it seemed to have settled
down. I have just changed jobs and am also going through the rigorous
screening process to allow Denise and I to foster children so I
would not like to over commit myself at this stage in my life.Perhaps
sometime in the future if there is a vacancy at a time when I feel I
could give the commitment such a role deserves.

Don't worry, Paul
- I'm sure there are plenty of us from the 60's out here, just perhaps
not as impetuous as those young 'uns from the 80s :-) Of course, we
are from a different era - more dignified, well behaved - or that's
what we try and persuade our children and grandchildren! I've been having
great fun with Google Earth, identifying the two schools, also all the
different places we were posted to over the years.

As you all seem
to be travelling far and wide. Where are you based Sandy? I'm not put
of by the journey, actually it seems fitting to be turning up this year,
as most of us will be celebrating or have celebrated the big 4 0 birthday,
although Sandy I'm sure yours is way off! I going to attempt to get
in touch with Paul Clough, (parents still keep in touch with each other.
Have fond memories of those Windsor days, best school years eva'

Just a quick message
to any of the 1970 early 1980's students that live in the south of England,
I live in Aldershot and will be traveling up to Blackpool on Friday
29th June and returning on Sunday 1st or Monday 2nd July. If anyone
in the surrounding area wants a lift, email Bill Craswell and he will
give you my contact details. If John, Debbie and Paul Falcus are still
in the Basingstoke area, get in touch and maybe we could travel up together. If
not, I hope to see you up there. Really looking forward to this one,
it seems that a lot more from the 70's are going to this one. Andy Youngs,
thought you said you would be in touch soon! I'm still waiting, best
time to catch me is during the day. See you all soon.

I am in agreement
with Andrea, it would be nice to meet up due to the big 40 that most
of us are verging on or have already celebrated before the planned reunion.
This msg is aimed at all those 80`s lot out there to make an effort
to attend this years function. It would be a crying shame to travel
(abroad as one person has told me!) to Blackpool if only a couple of
people turned up. Personally I have never attended, however; I will
be making the effort this year, if you are in contact with others from
our era lets ensure that the largest turnout to date will be the guys`
and girls` from the 80`s. Looking forward to seeing you all.
Rod Whitworth (B80-82)
We
will shortly be sending out a flyer to all members - you techies have
a head start so book your place now before the rush starts.

Hi Celia.Great
to hear back from you! Excellent news about Victor and William, is there
any chance of dragging Scott along? I know he wasnt there, but tell
him Ive managed to persuade Bobby to come with me! Hes in Cyprus at
the mo. My brother Shuggy lives near Newcastle! ,you might not remember
him, he was quite a bit younger. We live further South in the Cheshire
area, so no excuse for not going to the reunion! Were almost local!!Glad
to hear George is still well.Give him a hug for me next time you see
him !Are you up there for Easter? Not too sure what we are doing (3
wks school holls)Fancy you being a Gran..Cant wait to catch up with
you and the boys again,It seems like a lifetime ago! keep in touch love

Hi Paul Roper and
Pamela Ross, nice to finally see some 60's people here. I have posted
a few messages here but seems nobody remembers me. I was a Balmoral
boy, aged 11 and 12, and my sister Jennifer Taylor was in St James at
the same time but a couple of years older. I don't really remember many
names from those days only 1 nickname and that was a boy called 'Prof'.
We used to do the donald duck talk. Also have fond memories of the 'pegleg'story.
My father was in the RAF and based in Paris, so we had to catch the
train every term, which I remember was always a great trip. I am now
living in Perth, Australia which is where I am originally from, and
my sister is living in the UK. If anyone remebers us from this, please
let me know.
Kim Taylor (B63-64)

that be the TransEurop Express from S.H.A.P.E ......
